The Little Farm on the Hill!

Over the Dreamer's fall break, we had the opportunity to visit a wonderful friend on her little farm! She has a beautiful farm consisting of eight wooded acres complete with pigs, chickens, and pygmy goats. The Caveman and the Dreamer enjoyed playing with my friend's happy an animated son, swinging on the tire swing, transforming into woodland creatures via felt masks, taking a jaunt into the forest, feeding the animals, petting the hogs, and loving the chickens.  The Dreamer was even given the honor of naming Ginger Belle, one gregarious red hen. At night, after an epic bedtime battle with the insomniac caveman, adult conversation, accompanied by needle-felting was much enjoyed. We even needle-felted a pocket-sized version of Jessi Pearl, the sow who stole my heart!

The only thing we didn't have time to do was go searching for earthworms...
